Whats a Good Calcium Reactor?

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on calcium reactors. I'd like to get something semi-simple to set-up and adjust while keeping the price around or under $300.....Thanks Jason

You might keep your eye out for a used GEO or Schuran reactor. They seem to sell around that price range and I've heard many positives about both brands. Too bad you weren't in the market for one a few months back when I sold my Schuran. :(

Or you could check with Allen, maybe he'll sell his Schuran and get the Deltec he always wanted!

The schuran is probably the best design but not under $300. The only gripe I have ever heard about them is there impossible to get parts for .

Then again if you where happy with the skimmer you could always get an Octo calcium reactor. I don't own one but the build quality is the same as the skimmers and $269 for a dual chamber unit is a good price.

The only other options on the low end are the coralife CR but I heard you need to tweek them quite a bit.

That or you could wait until the DIY party and I could build you one for a $130:D
