Whats a good schooling reef safe fish?

Buddy of mine got some Bangais from SITC that school nicely...also very reef safe.
Personally, I'm interested in Schooling Bannerfish, but it's important to get the right species as one is NOT reef safe. They are not cheap fish either :)

Firefish are another great choice...really cool and very nice colors. Chromis do well in groups too. I forgot to mention that you need a good lid for anthias and firefish...they're known to be jumpers.

cs, I was thinking of firefish, but I'm concerned about the jumping issue. Currently the back of my canopy does NOT go all the way down to the top edge of the tank. Would this present a jumping target for firefish out the back of my tank???

I have a very easy fix to help with jumpers if you have a canopy. Take a piece of eggcrate and affix it to the back of the canopy vertically. This way the fish can jump up but not out. My fairy wrasse bumps its head once in a while on the top, but stays put, finally. HTH, Marcye

If you're like me and don thave a canopy but had a fish that can still make it out of egg crate? I placed 1 thin bit of wedding veil ove the eggcrate and tied it on the sides with fishing line.
