What's eating Monti?

I recently noticed my Monti Cap. was being grazed upon. Today I noticed a big chunk missing from the edge. My first suspects would be my urchins, specifically, a long spined urchin. Does this sound like something that they do?

I've seen the nudis but i've never seen them eat trough the sceleton like that. Altough i agree they are the most likely suspects.

Yes, monti eating nudis will eat every last bit of flesh from the skeleton, but they will not eat the skeleton. If you have pieces of skeleton missing, that is more likely from an urchin than nudibranchs.

Well, I do spend a lot of time sitting in front of the tank, and I have never seen a Nudi. I hit every coral with Coral RX when it's introduced. I'm going to keep an eye on that long spine. Maybe he's run out of coraline algae.

Did something fall on it or sting it? Looks like its chipped up top so my guess is another coral fell on it.

So I woke up this afternoon and looked in the tank and noticed that a frogspawn frag had been chewed on. Coincidentally, guess who happened to be in the vicinity?

I found another act of barbarianism today. Something is about to get yanked and tossed across the room!
