Ok, so it's Friday. My roommate's gone so we can't hang out. I'm looking for something to do. Give me some ideas! What are you guys up to?

I'll be passing through Columbia in a few hours, on my way to see my son this weekend. Meet me at QT and we'll kill a bottle of Don Julio.

I was just there (Columbia Mall) and it's a zoo! Too many people for me :p If I give it a few hours, however, every place will be desolate because the Greek houses will be throwing huge parties.

Starting to Plumb my system, and finishing painting and hanging trim. Waiting to hear about the G-2 that I am hoping to get. I did get the pond cleaned out today and my Koi fed.

Steve has other obligations tonight and the gliders are at my house. I still have the rats though :)

I'm not sure about rats and spiders being thought of as affectionate companionship substitutes.

Just got my little guy off to bed. Probably going to calibrate my pH probe and do a few other settings on the AC jr on the way to getting it installed on the main tank. Then I have to decide if I'm going to try this approach of keeping the tank dark tomorrow and upping the pH to try and battle some apparent dinoflagellates I have going on. :(

I don't think spiders are too cuddly, but I do love my rattie kids :)

Drinking Guinness, have some friends over. Put a Duracell in the salinity meter and recalibrated. Adding some ro/di to drop it a little.

I'm here just chillin and studying for a bio exam on Monday. It's amazing how quiet the dorms are on Friday nights! I guess everybody's out partying or maybe they all went home for Easter.

Got my pH probe calibrated and the whole AC jr setup moved over to my main tank. I believe I have the majority of my settings I wanted plugged in.

After all of the programming of settings and testing on the spare tank and making sure everything was working just so....I have come to the conclusion that when you move things over to your main tank, it is a very good idea that you make sure and reconnect the DC8 back to your controller! Sure glad I'm home today and not at work. One reason why I only do this stuff on weekends that I'm going to be around. The only thing I plugged into the DC8 so far was the heater, but the DC8 did not have the controller wire plugged back into the controller so it was trying to turn the heater on but couldn't. Temp probe was in and working fine, temp this morning is 76.6. Took me a couple of seconds of being completely baffled as to why the controller wasn't doing its job and what could be keeping it from working when I remembered not plugging that one wire back in. A quick peek in the tank revealed no dead fish floating around and corals seem ok. grrrr
