I recently added a rose BTA. It took to the back side of this rock. Stretches out over try rock during the day. The wife said it was almost touching these corals. Could the BTA hurt them? I moved the coral over in the tank and spread them out more.

Thanks.

Your corals will be fine unless the BTA continually stings them. You might consider putting the BTA on it's own "island", separated from the corals by an area of open sand, so as to help prevent it from moving and stinging the corals.

Otherwise everything looks fine to me.

Thanks for the info. Got to lose some rock to make an island. Going to see how this goes. On a side note since I reached in the tank to mov the coral the BTA receded to behind the rock and hasn't really come out. I guess I got too close and spoked it.

It's possible the BTA tagged them. I moved my big bta to the refugium specifically because of that reason. That and he kept splitting.

I'd ditch the thing personally. I'll never get another bta. Mini maxis or rock flowers all the way.

They could be splitting my hammers do that sometimes and my bubble inflates and deflates on a constant basis like clock work
