Whats up RC,
Ive been having trouble with my acro lately. Its been starting to bleach from the undersides of it. Heres a pic of what I mean:

Any ideas of what causes this? Could this be from insufficient light? I figured that if it was from too much light, that it would be bleaching all over, but if you look down on the frag from the top of the tank, it doesnt look bleached at all. Its only noticeable when the lights are off and you view the coral from the side. I have a red monti cap thats doing something very similar. My alk does swing quite a bit. Could that be it? Other than the white spots I do have great polyp extension during the day. Any and all help/advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.
(Edit: the tip of it is RTNing at the moment due to an overdose of alk, i think i managed to fix it with a water change b/c it stopped, but the bleaching has been going on for quite a while)
