What's growing on my zooas

So I had a power outage and my tank crashed ( I was out of town) after many week of rehab I've rescued almost everything but now I have these almost feather duster like things growing firm the base of my zooas.. what are these please help!

These are growing on same rock....

Any ideas? !!

What are your water parameters? What have you changed recently?

Nit: 0 ppm
Phos: 0 ppm
Ca+: 600ppm
Mg: 1500ppm

Temp:80°
I j had just checked thus morning. Sunday is my tank care day...

I am aware that the green is hair algae. I'm concerned about the small projections

I had these in a reef they send out a long trailing thin white tentacle that looks like a silk net and catch plankton and pull it back in I don't think it's a nuisance just some life on your live rock that has grown

If your seeing some sort of crown, then they're probably Colonial Hydroids. Vermetid snails and Spionid worms are a couple other possibilities.

So how do I get rid of them

remove the rock, kalk paste the heck outta em for a bit, 5 mins or so then rinse scrape off the dead/dying ones, rinse off. then place back the rock in the tank. ( from what I've read around other forums )

I have zoas on there though. Are they gonna be ok out of tank for 5 minutes

Yes, they will be fine. Keep the kalk off of them though.
