I moved my derasa clam to another tank this afternoon and now it is squirting out milky substance that is clouding the tank. Is this a problem? Is the clam ok? Will the milky cloudiness harm the other inhabitants of the tank?
The clam was spawning because it got stressed in the move. You need to do a water change and run carbon to clean up the water, this will prevent any water quality issues.
