What's Happening to my Derasa Clam?

I moved my derasa clam to another tank this afternoon and now it is squirting out milky substance that is clouding the tank. Is this a problem? Is the clam ok? Will the milky cloudiness harm the other inhabitants of the tank?

Thanks Ti. The clam has calmed down a little. I shut down the lights so it can rest so hopefully it will be ok in the morning.

The clam was spawning because it got stressed in the move. You need to do a water change and run carbon to clean up the water, this will prevent any water quality issues.
