Salinity is right on 1.025 with Refractometer for me also.
Alk stays between 8.5 & 9.0 dkh.
The mesenterial filaments thing sounds cool, and even though it may be stress related it would probably recover.
I have seen these white spots before, only on this efflo, I have two efflos, never seen them on any other acro, and I have a lot of them.
When reading about mesenterial filaments, I was thinking that maybe the food I was feeding the tank, frozen meaty foods, might have irritated the efflo. There is a lot of water movement in the tank, so it should stay clean, but who knows.
