I currently have the following stock in my 56 column tank.

Am I at my limit or can I add a couple more fish?

3 - Blue/Green Chromis
2 - Clown Percs
1 - Royal Gramma

Me personally I would not add anything. Only reason i would not add is because of the chromis and clowns. They are territorial fish. Also in a column the fish really can't swim far left and right. Another thing is what did u want to add?

The column tank aslo cuts off oxygen exchange. So whether you bio load could handle it or not, I have a feeling that the oxygen levels will get you first. I would suggest against the firefish if you added another fish. The royal gramma will intimidate it very easily. When that happens the firefish will hide, not eat, and then die.

I would not do the fire fish. I think a goby would be ok. They are usually on the bottom of the tank, and occasionally swimming.

I would say go ahead with the goby. I'm not 100% on the firefish

What can do to ensure I have enough oxygen exchange?

skimmer and fuge. How deep is your tank, in inches? I run a 54 wedge shape and have no problems with my fish load, but they're all small guys.
