Whats the best daily fish/coral food?

What brand do you guys use daily to feed your fish/corals? What type of dry food is best for the tank, in terms of keeping the water parameters in check? Ive been feeding a couple flakes of Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef, and while the clownfish eats it... the corals dont seem very happy. I know about Rod's... yes, its awesome... and I feed mysis cubes from time to time... but I want to know about a good daily dry food.

What do you feed? Why?

I can't speak to the corals but I switch it up for my fish. As far as dry goes I feed Prime Reef Flakes as well as New Life Spectrum Thera+A pellets. They go crazy for both and I've read nothing but praises for the NLS so I haven't seen a real reason to switch it up from those two yet.

Oh, and nori.... but that is mostly for my Coral Beauty's benefit.

my coral beauty wont touch the nori but my foxface goes nuts for it...???

I feed spectrum pellets. formula one flake. Once or twice a week frozen mysis and nori sheets. I think that's about it

I do Rods once or twice a week, and feed Cyclopeeze Flake daily, all fish love it, and it breaks down for the corals.

I'm a fan of variety - if possible daily but at least 4 times a week frozen food. i will mix blood worms, mysis, rod's, daphina and once in a while some brine shrimp i'll throw in. I usually will soak in some Vieta chem or Selcon.

Dry I always go with Spectrum and Spurlina dry flake.

I actually feed a lot of live blackworms, which are fed ground plankton/krill & soaked in Selcon & Vita-chem & switch off with BZA's dry food.

I used to feed spectrum, but ran out and was just using the Prime Reef flakes. I guess I'll have to go out and get some more Spectrum and mix it up. I might look into that Blue Zoo food too Puff, sounds interesting. Do you have a name or link to it?

Thanks everyone!

I feed Rod's everyday on my 120, and alternate between Rod's and Prime Reef Flake on my nano.

Since Rod's has SO MUCH variety, I wish I could feed it everyday on my nano, but the stuff is very rich. On my 120, I don't see any need to feed anything else...

Rod's Food Ingredients...
Shrimp, Scallop, Oyster, Clam, Squid, Octopus, Perch, Green Nori (porphyra sp), Red unroasted nori (porphyra sp) Mysis, Krill, Pacific plankton (Euphausia sp.) Brine shrimp, Frozen red cyclops, Fish eggs, Oyster eggs, Golden pearls (all sizes), Broccoli, carrot, Garlic, Selco, Astaxanthin (Haematococcus pluvialis), Beta-meal (Dunalliella Salina), Freshly harvested rotifers, freshly hatched baby brine shrimp.

I feed Spetrum Thera A+ small amounts throughout the day then Rod's Food.... At night when the Lights go out I start Feeding DT's Oyster Eggs which make great polyp extensions, and my Goni's love this stuff....

I've actually been feeding rods original everyday now, used to only give OSI marine flakes, but rods truly feeds the whole tank, so I like it.

Please let me know. I'll talk to BZA about not getting my food.

hey puffer the northwest indiana club i'm in will be doing a group buy from bluezoo soon and i can probably order some of the food and we can meet or i can come to you sometime and bring it up...
