What's the deal with anenome lighting?

IME, you won't have a year before things turn. And part of the issue -- at least when it happened to me -- is that things go South very quickly, and could happen before you have time (( and means to deal with the other clowns )) to intervene.

i agree with this, once things turn you'll end up with dead fish in a night time (happened to me)

I recently setup a 26g flat back hex and used a 4xT5HO Coralife hood. Wife had to have an RBTA the other day so we brought it home (against my better judgement) on the 22nd. I ran the actinics all day but only ran the whites a couple hours the first day and about 4 the second day. The anemone quickly moved to the bottom of the rock out of the light (current is the same in both locations). I think the LFS had PC on the tank this guy was in but I'm not positive now (shallow tank with the lights in close proximity). It worries me that it's pretty much out of the light all together but it doesnt look to be in bad shape. I tried to feed it a small piece of krill today and it didnt take it; while feeding, I noticed the tentacles had no "stick" to them. Hopefully all goes well.

Color in the image isnt very accurate but best I could get with a flash on my point/shoot.
