Hi everyone. I am currently running a 7094 with 3 streams and have a 7096. I currently got the 7096 from a local a reefer and decided to just store it in a box somewhere. It was extremely complicated to set up and I am over it. I am about to pick up a 7095 to try out from a local reefer in a trade, but I am having second doubts if I should even waste the money.

What are the differences between the 7095 and 7096? Which one would you perfer, or should I just stick with my 7094 and save the money?
Thanks in advance

The 7095 is a stand alone controller, it costs more, it has the added feature of Interval 2 which idles one pump while pulsing the other. The 7096 only has Interval 1 at the moment which is one pump on one pump off. The 7096 has two features the 7095 does not, storm mode which sets up a daily to weekly storm surge that lasts a few minutes and wavebox mode, it can run a wavebox. Since the 7096 is software based, more features will come in the future. In March we plan an upgrade and Mac support to be added and upgrades will be free downloads online.

As for opinion
They both have plus and minus's. If you are looking for simplicity go with the 7095

If you still have the 7096, Interval 2 is being added and a software update and mac version are getting close to being available and these should make it much easier to use. The 7095 has more features and is easier to use than the 7094 but the 7096 is generally the way to go, being software based, it has far more future possibilities.

any specific date ?

I was hoping to see a demo of the new software while in Germany but it wasn't finished. I am told the Mac version works but it is buggy and needs some fine tuning, the PC update is almost ready. I don't have a more definite date.
