I don't think anything has changed in a long time with PLC-6. I don't know if it's been wiped from the table or if it's just "shelved" for right now but there hasn't been a change or update in a long time now.

The latest -

PLC6 Beta (remember this never was a general released product) was put back into development after a few months of Beta tester feedback. The market took a huge curve ball during development with a more focus on web based control, so there was no point GHL pouring money in time and investment into a product that users simply would not want. GHL is client driven focussed, your needs and wishes NEVER go unheard.

So a few changes were made, the first was very evident of GHL now building their own APP and not relying on third parties, this way they have full control of reliability.

The downside of in house developement of this nature when you are dealing with a global product driven by hardware NOT software is that these things take time to be implemented. The only thing we can be sure of however is that when it comes out as always it will put anything else in the dark ages

Thanks for the update Michael. I am glad that GHL is driving more towards Web-Based control because that's really what most people seem to ask for the most.

I was on the PLC6-BETA team and honestly feel like it was the right thing to do for GHL to pull it and not continue down the road PLC6 was headed. Job well done.

So far GHL is in the dark, current applications are not that great. so hopefully it will happen soon.

For now yes, but most Pc's have it pre installed anyway.

I just got my PII back from it's P3 upgrade. I really can't wait for the apps to start working so I can control from my iOS devices....

What's the point of having the high end stuff if you can't go full on reef geek with it. :lol2:
