dantodd New member Jul 28, 2006 #2 The watts/gallon rules are not very meaningful. However; 130w or PC is not nearly enough for an LTA or any species of carpet. Most carpets and LTA do best with MH though T5s (don't know how many watts) or VHOs (440 watts) should be plenty for LTA and some carpets.
