What's the most you have spent

i am curious to know, what is the most you have spent on any one fish or coral-- what kind was it and is it still in your care?

me on the other hand--- i spent 75.00 on a naso tang( three years ago( he is gone to heaven), but the most on any coral was a fox coral from something fishy(4 years ago) for 85.00 and it is in heaven as well---- but what about anyone else?

I bought a horn shark from something fishy about 9 years ago for 225.00. It died about one month later.

Red carpet anemone. $500. Kept it for a couple of years...sold it here on RC a couple of years ago. It was awesome, but got too big and started eating my fish.

Most expensive right now - probably my Borbonius anthias. $150. Still doing well after about a year in the tank.

Mystery wrasse $100. Found it next morning on the floor, sporting a cat-hair coat.

The Five-Large came after the Reef-bug bit me again following a 7-year hiatus and after my buddy's "give-away" set-up JUST wasn't big enough, so I HAD to upgrade to the 120!

The "free" horse conch with the perfect hole that Robin picked up on our honeymoon that she "insisted" must be a sign for me to start that Saltwater tank out of the 55 that had been in the garage for 5 years waiting for me to get everything together to start a reef with.

It has now been home to my blue damsel for the past two years.
