I'm sick of my the PH not creating the flow i want in my tank which is mostly SPS. If i add more PH, it'll create more heat and the tank doesnt look very nice with a buch of PH hanging. So i'm planning on going into the stream. The problem is my tank is small......and i have about 2" of sand. I read that on the 6000, you can control the speed from 600-1xxxGPH? I think 600-700PGH is perfect since the stream is a disperse flow? what do you think about this?
Do i have to buy the controller for this or it came with it?
Thanks

I really wouldn't get a Stream for this tank. One 7300/2 will give you plenty of flow. You actually get a better dispersal and flow action if you can use the pulsing capability. You do need to buy a seperate controller to pulse the pump. They work on their own but at one constant speed. Actually the lowest flow a 6000 can do is about 1000gph and because your tank is small it will not properly flare out to cover the area and be so low pressure it will have no effect.
