What's this Acro?

I brought this acro into my tank 3 months ago as a gift. It started off brown, but later turned to this:



Any idea what kind of acro this could be? It reminds me of a red dragon, but with purple body and green polyps.

The original Red Dragon Acropora is A. carduus. And yours would appear to be close to that as well. I am not saying yours is Red Dragon, or Purple Dragon, or Puff the Dragon, or Imagine Dragons. I am just saying I would call it Acropora cf. carduus for now.

Thanks for the ID, it sure does look like carduus.

Looking through a few pictures online, I see a slight resemblance to the Mr. Pacman Acro. Would you agree?

I agree that it looks like it, but I would not agree that is what it is. The Mr. Pacman originates from SniperSPS.

I have one like yours from bali and i bought it being a Acro Fenneri.

I just stumbled across this old thread, thought I'd post, looks similar and is what I named the twilight dragon, it was a wild piece I picked up as a cardus
