What's this white mucus like substance?

I just got home to find this on one of my corals. It's stringy, white and looks like mucus. Sorry for the bad pics

Looks like normal coral slim to me. My green slimmer is doing the same thing right now as it has grown into some bubble algae. Normal in my opinion.
 
What type of coral is that? It looks similar to these huge mounds when I was in the south pacific. The mounds were the size of a two story house. It was made by a coral that looked similar in structure.
 
that is a mucsus the coral produces to capture food. it can harm other corals but is not something to worry about. i would blow it off and try to capture as much as possible.
