I got free 45 gallon bow front and this rock came with it. it stayed wet and IDK what the dots are and what the worm looking this are Please help

The white worm looking things are the hard casing of tiny feather duster worms.

Not sure what the white dots are, but they are likely a type of spionid worm. Are they spiral-shaped?

Either way, this is what healthy rock typically looks like, particularly the underside. Nothing to fear here, all beneficial critters that will come and go as your tank matures.

Not necessarily.. Plenty of peoples tap water is sufficient enough to use as is..
Others.. not so much..

Most likely standard zoa's that are closed. You might be able to save those.....just leave them alone for awhile. Did the tank cycle yet?

I would concur, some sort of zoa/paly. Lucky snag . I bought 1 live rock to seed my 70ish pounds last year and about a week to 2 into cycling started seeing some color, and it eventually developed into a colony of what my best guess is eagle eye zoas. At its peak probably closed to 70-80 polyps (some chemical warfare going on between it and some other zoas I bought so we'll see who wins out).
