What's up my Reefer Family??

Just checking in on all of you Masters of Reefing and Rookies Fraggers.

How are things theses days? I've seen lots of Old farts getting out and some getting back in. I've seen lots of new reefers for life and have seen lots of build threads.......but not enough for my tastes I have been away for sometime and have been tank free (not setup but here) for about a year but want to get mine up and running. Sad thing is I have it all hanging out in my house. a brand new Cadlights 50 with Radion Gen 4 Pro lighting, full apex with Salinity probe and all the good stuff. New MP10 QD and a Vertex Omega with Vertex neck cleaner plus a stellar return pump and refugium yet its all sitting right now collecting dust.

We did however buy a new home in Esparto and I a looking forward to setting it all up. Soooo hopefully a build thread will be coming....Very soon.

Mine has its ups and downs. I really need to find a good 24/7 doser to push water into my CaRx. Does anyone have a really solid recommendation for that? The aqualifter isn't consistent and keeps having problems. It's POSSIBLE it's that I have old hoses running to it that keep cracking/leaking and sucking air in..

At any rate. Issues. SPS is hit and miss. And I need to do more frequent water changes and GFO changes

Ron you need a cole palmer continuous doser medical grade, or you can go cheap like i do and use a mj1200 reduced to 1/4". It burns out the maxi after awhile but that's what 20$ every few years

I think you need to find one that is controllable, but i could be wrong. Or at least a flow rate that is close to what you need

Well as every tank demand/ effluent rate is different thats what you are trying to match, also why i went with a maxi much easier to open up the effluent line and get more from the maxi that way.
