This used to be SEASL's model...check out their forum
Damn. Shots fired.
If we don't want to fade away we need to learn from the lessons of the past. SEASL is a fine club, they offer their members valuable services and events, and I consider several of their members as my friends. SLASH sprung up from SEASL, here on this forum. Their RC forum effectively died out several years ago, I'd hate to see SLASH do the same thing. Facebook just isn't for me, but many have flocked there in lieu of these forums. We are only as successful as we want to be.

I try to check in occasionally but it is extremely slow compared to the old days.
