What's up with my flower 'nem?

I've had this guy for a couple months, he's always done well. He's about 9 inches from the surface under T5s. I feed him about 2-3 times a week with dried/frozen krill or silversides. He usually catches flake and brine shrimp during feeding time.

When I give him, say, a chunk of dried krill, he usually spits it back up the next day, still somewhat intact, but relatively digested-looking.

But the last week or two he's been releasing this brown, almost cyano-looking stuff from his mouth/anus. Look...

And today he started doing this:

I've read about anemones and corals releasing zooxanthellae when they're somehow unhappy. Is that what this is, or is this typical behavior? My bubble tip doesn't open and close and isn't as animated as this guy.

It appears to be releasing zooxanthellae. I wouldn't be concerned as long as it returns to normal, which it appears to have done in the last pic.
