Whats up with my Yellow Watchman?

Hey I bought a yellow watchman from a LFS and it was under a rock and had him a little hole he peeked out of..
I have brought him home and all he does is swim beside the overflow box and sometimes even sits right next to it. I had to put a lot of gutter guard around my over flow because he kept jumping into the overflow box and ended up in my sump and i had to fish him out..

Why does he stay next to my overflow box instead of finding a home under a rock?

I have
1 Engineer goby
1 Yellow tailed tang
6 Clown
1 Flame angel
1 Lawnmower
2 Firefish
1 Powder tang
1 Long nosed butterfly
1 Anthias

None of the fish mess with one another or chase each other..

Had a firefish that did the same thing, figured out it was because of all the food / pods flowing right to it.

Mine does the same thing. She hangs out by the Vortech. No idea why.

Do you guys have sand in your tank? Mine is perfectly happy in the sand. I hope you are feeding it enough.
