Whats up with this milli?

I bought this milli a few months ago and placed it right next ot an mp40 in the upper half of my tank. The coral looked great at first but has been looking bleached at the bottom with little to no polyp extension. The other milli in the tank look great and this milli looked fine for a while then all this sudden started to go south. Any ideas? I have noticed wired things with milli and there polyp extension before, where one side of the coral had no polyp extension while the other has full nice extension.

based on the picture it looks like that one part is just getting exposed to a lot more light from a center mounted light.. while the other branches are closer to the edge of the tank I donnu?

If its not too much light..... Is that side closest to the mp40? Too much direct flow maybe

Yeah the base is getting more direct light. The thing that gets me is the other milli are closer to the light then this one.
