What's with 880 at Mission Construction, anyone know?

was driving to and from Atlantis in Fremont, but the triffic seems to be getting worse than last week, do any one know why they are tearing down the center divide and narrowing the lanes during the process. Took me hour and half to get home in Santa Clara which usually takes me 45 mins., I just wish they will complete the construction soon.

can't believe the projected time for completion is 2008, I thought once they knock down the center divide, the lane would be widen to 4 for each direction, so we can all go home happy.

what about the crap that's goin @ 680 by Capitol Expressway. Can't find any info on that.
