What's wrong with my Yellow Watchman Gobie?

I noticed the white spot yesterday like his scales fell off. Also he has been breathing heavy the last couple of weeks. Any Ideas?

You don't here any clicking at night in your tank do you , It might be a mantis shrimp stressing him out. I hope not though they can be a pain,
keep us up too date.

Had the exact same thing happen w/ this exact fish. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to keep this fish in a 5 gal nano tank. The white marks developed after about 1 month of being in the tank. When I moved him to 46gal tank, these white marks seemed to vanish. My original thoughts were that he may have been stung by my frogspawn and/or hammercoral, but looking back on it, I think that stress may have been at play (due to the severely undersized tank he was in).

No clicking sound but I know there is a pretty big crab that i'm trying to catch.

I have had him about 3 months and he was doing fine. He paired up with my Jawfish (RIP), they were always together but after he dissapeared the Gobie hasn't been the same. Hopefully he will get better.
