What's wrong

any pictures? It might be cyanobacteria coating everything, unless it is the actual coral tissue that is brown... then I would check Nitrates. What are you water parameters?
 
The nitrate are at 0 ppm

It looks exact what leathers do sometime, could they be excreting?
 
it almost looks like your leathers are doing their "molting" process and collecting cyanobacteria. If that's the case it should clear up in a few days. Are they polyped out right now?
 
mine do that about once a month.

I don't think it is anything bad, mine have done it even since I bought them, about 2 years ago.

They barely have their polyps open when the slime has fallen off, maybe they do this because they protect them selfs from UV-beams and then they will get better when the "danger" is over, just my tought tough.
