What's your favorite hermit crab?

I'm starting a new 90 gallong reef tank and need to get my cleanup crew started. I've gotten 30 Astreas and need to get some hermits. My last tank (24 gallon) I had Scarlets, reds and blues. I liked the Scarlets based on color but they got murdered by the reds and blues. I'm thinking of getting only Scarlets but wanted to know other people's favorites and why. Thanks.

Agreed, EBs are fun. They get BIG though, so go easy on the numbers. I have one in my 65g along with a handfull of bluelegs and a few scarlets. Here's a recent pic of my EB... he's a big boy, and I don't think he's done growing yet!

My favorites are Big Boy and Peanut, my pair of scarlets. They've been with me from the beginning, they've produced offspring, and Big Boy even eats bubble algae---better than that cursed emerald mithrax crab I got for that job.

dwarf zebra legs, i have had the same three since i started. they have only killed a few snails and that was because i didn't provide shells. otherwise they are phenominal!
