When is it ok to move to new tank?

I currently have a 75g sps tank with a heavy stock and a handful of high end expensive pieces. I decided to upgrade to a 187g and have that tank up and running. It has been cycled and running for about 3 months or so and put a few small tester corals in there and they all seem to be doing good and growing. The 187g was started with dry rock and tile for my substrate and cycled with bottled bacteria.

I was planning on just moving all my corals at once to keep my stress down and have one less tank to maintain. Is it even safe/advisable to do that and what about my dosing? Can I just run the lines from my dosing pumps to the new tank and call it a day or will I need to dose more/less?

This weekend I will have a total of 6 fish in the 187 after they finish QT but I will not transfer the fish from the 75g right away. They don't show signs of anything but I would still like to QT them before I go ahead and mix them with the new fish. I will QT my old fish via TTM and transfer them after 4 transfers.

Is moving to a bigger tank that easy or am I missing something very important? I just want to make sure everything will be ok before I go ahead with the process.

Thanks in advanced

1. are you sure the tank is completely cycled as in can break down amino and all that good jazz (I would assume it is if you are asking)

2. I would keep the other tank up a while after transfer to have a back up (just in case)

3. With dosing I would not just change it over measure out the new consumption after everything is transferred over to getting the consumption right

4. make sure it is cycled and your new tank could handle that amount of bioload

5. I would still QT the fish from the other tank

6. I would move over a couple at a time like for example. lets say you have a tang... move him last.

7. I would try to move the coral in first so you could measure the amount that is used for everything that you are dosing for and get it right. (take a measurement of ever thing you dose one day then take one 5-7 days later then take said number and divide it by what ever day you are on. that is how much is used a day)

this is just what I would do people are welcome to correct me
