When was the last time anyone has seen an Anampses lennardi for sale in the US? From where and for how much? I have been looking for one for awhile now and havent seen one offered since 2012. I know they are from an area where fish arent often collected and shipped, but a year and a half without seeing one? I am just hoping someone else has seen them...

In the past, usually Route 66 gets them from... Cairns I think?

There were some about a year ago in the market, but it's been a little while (but more recent than 2012).

It's still a species I have not known anyone to keep much longer than one year (Sanjay had one or two for that long); everyone seems to lose them without warning. I tend to think they might need to be kept cooler than many suspect; <72F.

Sanjay currently has two, I think? Unless he was showing an old video of his tank at a conference recently, which is also possible. I thought he said the ones he has now he has had for a year and a half. Also had/has an A. femininus.

Thanks, Cairns is the only supplier I have seen, andI was aware of the cooler temps, though not quite as low as 72, but that is doable.

I had two.. they were doing great for a while. Then one day disappeared. I believe they only lasted 5 months. Very cool fish. However, they might need specific conditions.i.e. cooler temperatures.

I vaguely recall that Divers Den had a couple (perhaps three?) of them about two years ago. Since I did not have appropriate conditions for them (I do not recall what was suggested), I did not consider them.
