when is the next diving trip?

Well...I went to college in Orlando for 3 years. Besides people walking around barefoot and drinking alot of 'Natty Ice'...not really a big difference. :D

Look, it's what you make of it. Are people waving at me as I drive down the street and saying hello when I walk by? NO. Do people annoy the hell out of me sometimes by being rude/obnoxious? YES. But get over it...that's life.

Wherever you live, you find a group of people that you enjoy spending time with - and do that. Stay away from the people that are annoying.

And by the way - I spend my summers in Hawaii and let me tell you that not everyone there is a friendly islander giving "good customer service". When you leave Waikiki beach the locals are not so inviting to tourists....and even IN WAIKIKI (one of the most highly concentrated tourist spots in the US) I have encountered some characters who dont appreciate tourists invading their space- ESPECIALLY in the surf!

Sorry, I just realized this thread was originally about DIVING! How did we get on this topic?!? I will shut up now....

try another state and live there for awhile. btw in hawaii youre a haole it takes awhile to be accepted by the locals verses here where youll never be accepted. btw youre an attorney so maybe you are one of the mean people but id have to meet you myself.

Dactyl, come to the meeting this month, I think you will find a nice family to interact, I am sure you will like it, also, if you need a friend or someto just talk call me up 786-356-9728
Hope to see you at the meeting buddy!

Dactyl, dealing with rude people and there comments is part of life. Sometimes you can take it, and sometimes you cannot. Presenting Florida as you have is pretty steriotypical, your almost making it sound like New York, lol. I have been to California, people are very nice there, but it's definately not the friendliest place in the world, you have to deal with people there as you do here. How about you start saying "Hi" to people or try being friendly to others, might get you farther then you think. Life is definately about interaction and if you live it by one bad experience or even several you will find yourself with no one to talk to, lonely.

So now that we all know why you have made your comments, we can understand where your coming from and maybe you can come to a meeting and get to know everyone. I have only been to one meeting, but have met several people from the club and alot of them are very nice people. I will be going to this months meeting, hopefully I will see you there.

Ok, Back to business, I think we have a nice group to go out diving, now we need to decide were are we going to dive, I would like to hear what you guys think, but personally I would like to stay away from party boats.
I know a few places that you can dive from land one of them is the blue heron bridge, here is a link of the place, what do you think, if you know of any other good places bring them up now we can probably do the dive next weekend, let me know

Anyone here have under water/waterproof camera? so that for those who can't dive (myself) can get a taste of what it like to be under there. :)

I've been doing that dive quite a bit lately. In fact, I'll be there tomorrow at 11:00.
