When polips attack and smother

I have some polips that are growing and seem to be taking over a small sps colony that is on the same rock. What should I do?

Scrape off the polips?
cut the sps part of the rock off?

Let nature take its course? not my first option.

The good news is that I am seeing good growth. Thats a real ++++!

hard to say, what do u like more? lol

i have this one rock with 2 spots of zoos, same colony but some how it made its way on to two areas. i think of kalkpaste to get rid of it before it goes wild on me.

if u could i would remove the rock and chisel the sps off along with its full base, then place it else where that it wont get disturbed. if u make frags on accident, sell them. lol
