When should I start my water testing?

I just set my tank up today with LS, LR and sw (which I didnt mix myself, I bought from LFS), I have proclear75 with ca2200 pump running. My question is when should I start testing my water?

IMO start checking now so you can see how the parameters change and get the hang of using the test kits (it also gives you things to do on your tank so you will not get in a hurry and make mistakes

I would start watching the ammonia now, so I would know when to do some water changes. Doing a round of each test should help you get accustomed to the kits, and might help you check that your salt mix is okay, etc.

I have a question about my water levels too. I had tank filled to the top and I had water in the sump up to "water level", Few hrs later and water in the sump doubled and water in a tank went an inch down. Why is it? And what should I do about it?

I think you posted the same question twice, or somehow the post got duplicated. That's a link to the duplicate.

As far as the water levels, hard to say exactly what water got dumped, but the levels now are probably closer to steady state, if there is one for your setup.

yes whatever I did somehow fixed water levels. Now, I do have more water in the sump its about an inch above "water level" should I take it out up to the line or should I leave it there?

I don't know what setup you have, so I can't be sure, but for general safety's sake, I'd say reduce the water level to the indcated level.
