I have a 110 gallon tank with LOADS of live rock and live sand with a pair of clown, yellow tang, 2 damsels, foxface, and a few cleaner shrimp. and plenty of light..
I'm new to anemones, I always sticked with live rock and fish.
But i thought i'de give it a shot, i picked up a long tenticle anemone two days ago, and so far it's doing great. But it's tenticles looked a little stringy for a lil while, so i tried feeding it a small piece of raw shrimp.
But, it just covers the pieace of shrimp up with a goo, and let's it go...?
So does that mean it's not hungry?...or anything else wrong?...
I also tried feeding small piece of raw fish, same thing happened....BUT it does look like it feeds on the pellets i put in for the fish...
any tips would be greatly appreciated. :D

What are the tank parameters, lighting, etc? What substrate and how deep? (deep sand is critical for this species). Spitting food back out can be a sign of several potential things: 1) wrong food, 2) improper substrate, 3) bad water quality, or 4) the anemone is going into (or is already in) a decline. It is also very possible that it is settling in, but needs proper substrate and water quality for this. I would first give some more info.
