When to put in commensal animals

I asked this question before but did not get a clear answer. When can I introduce animals that will live with anemones? Can they go into the tank before the anemone or do they need to be introduced together? One of my books says on the stocking of mini reefs that the clownfish and the anemone should be introduced together.

If they do need to be introduced together; I guess that means that my tank is going to look rather dull with just the clean up crew and live rock (and copopods) while the tank is maturing.

I thin introducing anemone first is better. If you introduse anemone later and clown disturbing it before it accilimate the new tank would cause stress for the anemone.

I agree... Introduce the anemone first and let it get settled before introducing commensals... The waiting period depends on how long it takes for your anemone to get settled and look good... ;)
