When will my mushroom attach?

Long story short, my mushroom isn't attached to a rock. When will it get a foothold? It's in a medium flow area, and I can't move it to lower flow cause it'll drift away and I won't be able to catch it.

If I put a mushroom in a cup with rubble where it gets the light it likes, a little flow but dooesn't get blown around and can settle nicely on that rubble, it will attach within a week depending on the condition it is in to start with. It's better to give it a couple of extra days once it starts holding on to make sure it has a good hold and will stay attached.

I usually put some type of meshy cloth and tie a rubberband to it and leave it there for about a week or two

Oh yeah most importantly do not use super glue gel to attach it to any surface.

Do I have to put it in a cup or do the cloth stuff for it it attach? Cause, I'm afraid if I move it, it'll float away into the filter o something...( it's really really small, esp. when "angry").
Thanks, for the info though, guys.

If you feel uncomfortable with these methods, purchase a cricket carrier from walmart and throw in some rubble rock in the container, throw your mushroom in there and close the lid and place in your tank for a week or until you see it attached. This method has worked successfully with my mushrooms.

IMO I will put the mushroom inside a container that filled with tiny rubble, and wrap it with veil at the top of the container :spin2:
