when will new pump be availible?

Hi Roger,

I am looking for 6105 pump, but also have seen that you guys are coming with a new version?? wider flow?

When those will be on the market? how do i know if thats the new version, none of the stores mention anything about it.

the 6105 now ships with both the standard cover and wideflow cover. it also comes with the 24v jumper and 18v stock jumper. the packaging isn't really any different, if at all, but all vendors should have the new 6105 by now.

oh ok, thank you for your response. I just wasnt sure whats new about them.

Also i am planning to switch from my vortech to tunze pumps. now i have a small 6025 on the back of my tank behind the rocks for an extra flow there.

Do you think one 6105 would be enough in mix reef? i am planning to use 7096 controller.

Right now I have 90g but soon will upgrade to 125

One pump is never ideal because you do want some ability to change the flow direction. A 6105 would be overkill really, unless it was just a full blown SPS set up. You will likely run the turned down quite a bit. The 6095's would likely be a better choice, a pair of them.
