the 6105 now ships with both the standard cover and wideflow cover. it also comes with the 24v jumper and 18v stock jumper. the packaging isn't really any different, if at all, but all vendors should have the new 6105 by now.
One pump is never ideal because you do want some ability to change the flow direction. A 6105 would be overkill really, unless it was just a full blown SPS set up. You will likely run the turned down quite a bit. The 6095's would likely be a better choice, a pair of them.
