When will one change to a female?

I have a black ice and picasso clownfish, both about 1 1/4" long.

When will one change to a female? (when they both reach a certain size?)
Are there any problems I can expect?

Thanks.

Where they paird before you got them? Typically you want one smaller then the other. Is one shaking when the other comes up close to it?

Not paired, they were purchased separately. They've been together for about a month.

No shaking when they come close to each other. Is the shaking a sign to determine sex?

Since they are both about the same size, will one eventually grow into the female?

Also, they have since bonded with the RBTA in my tank but swim in it individually, not together.

Thanks.

I have had my 2 clowns, bought at the same time for about 1 1/2 months, they both were about alittle over 2" long. I have noticed the past week, the one that was a hair smaller started shaking (epilidtic seizer) around the other one.

It seriously does look like it's having a seizure when it surrenders! It's nuts! One also will start darting at the other one, kind of turning into a bully. That will be your female unless the other one doesn't surrender. My female is still mean to my male. They have been together since this Feb and she still darts at him. I just took this video earlier today and you can see a little seizure in the beginning. The others are harder to see.
