....a piece of shrimp, do you shell the shrimp? Is that a stupid question? Could you just chop a chunk off, including the shell, and feed it? Or does it make sense to just shell it?

i take the shell off, i'm sure they can deal with it ( spit it out ) but i try to make everything as easy for my nems as possible.

Depends on the anemone. For BTAs I shell it for magnificas I leave the soft part of the shell on and remove any thicker pointy bits. My rational is that they consume the shell in the wild and I don't know if there are nutrients in it they need.

Me too, although I'll let my BTA's eat shell if the piece has shell on it.

I figure it makes sense they eat that stuff in the wild.
