Where are all the clams?

I'm just curious where all the clams are lately... non of the LFS seem to have any and everytime I have called for the past three months I keep hearing "they're coming next week." Is there a big shortage of clams lately? Some stores have had one or two crocea's, but I'm really wanting anything other than a crocea, like a teardrop.

Oddballs in Tulsa had several kinds a week ago( i think he had 6 to 8. Thats where we got our joker from.

I think Oddballs in Tulsa must have them all. He had 12-15 over the weekend. Nice colors too.

There's a new trend in Japan..it's called Rainbow Miso Soup. The rainbow coloration comes from the Maxima and Crocea clams...
