where can I buy some XL hermit crabs

I just bought 100 small zebra hermits a few weeks ago and I don't think they've all been eaten already. Seems I only have luck with the really big hermits. I still have 5 or 6 big ones from a couple years ago who have made it. Someone on this forum recommended a place to buy them and I need to get some more. If anyone knows where I can pick up some really big ones LMK.

Was just at the local PetCo the other day, they had a bunch of big ones...If you have one near you it's worth a look.

Sometimes Live Aquaria has them in stock other than that Im not use. Any way to have a local fish store order for you?

That is where I got the really big ones when I had my 240g. Just don't buy the ones with things painted on there shells. :eek1:

I'm thinking my 12inch queen trigger would still tear these large hermits apart. Any experience?

My 7 inch queen trigger doesn't bother my big hermits I have now. It's mainly my wrasses that put a hurtin on the small hermits.

Me too, the wrasse just wipes them out.

I found a big one at the beach recently (with an orange anemone attached) and put it in my FOWLR. My snowflake ate it within a week, and this thing was pretty massive. The medium sized ones I added are still fine, go figure.
