Looking for a Black and White Percula for my wife's tank, anyone seen one around the bay area anywhere?

I am sure I saw several at Dolphin Pet village in Campbell on Tuesday. I also believe I saw one at Aquatic Variations in Mountain view.

Have you checked out Mermaid or Atlantis yet?

Back when I was looking for one, the only place I managed to find one was at Dolphin Pet Village (although I did see many black and white clarkii/saddlebacks mislabelled as b&w occelaris). I believe it was captive raised (had the bulldog face), and was like $45.

Elite, I think they all have orange mouths as juveniles - it turns black as they mature. That's what happened with mine.

Thanks Bonnie.. Not all of them right??. I've seem some really big black and white clowns that still have the orange mouth.

Well I am really not supposed to say according to RC rules of posting because it would be considered advertising. So there is really no way that I could confirm that we have both wild caught (Darwin Aust) black false percs and also ORA CB black false percs. Again conforming to RC rules I also can not say that if you might be interested in the wilds, they are not on the floor and you will need to see me about taking a look at them in the back room as I dont have a suitable tank for them on the floor.

Cool. ;)

I cannot confirm or deny that I will be down to this place that may or may not have these rumored fish this coming Friday around 7 to 7:30pm to possibly purchase one of these fish that may or may not exist. Supposedly.

If you get the unconfirmed-to-exist fish, make sure you follow proper quarantine and dipping regimens. I say this because the wild caught (orange) ocellaris I had in my quarantine tank keeled over :( after 3 days. I should have given them a formulin dip, or at least a freshwater dip before they entered the QT.

The afore-mentioned wild clowns have been in my quarentine tanks for 4 weeks now, passed all worming procedures and are free and clear of "bugs" ...... supposedly!
