Where can I get a bulkhead fitting locally?

Hi all - trying to improve my tank return lines. I need a 3/4 in threaded bulkhead fitting. Went to 2 hardware stores, checked their plumbing sections, no dice. At the second store, they sent me to a plumbing specialty store. The guys there have never seen anything like the one I've got. They tried to send me to a boat store.


Any suggestions?

Davis Lumber (Ace Harware) in Davis has the 3/4" bulkhead. They are really nice high quality bulkheads compared to what you would get a Marine Depot.

Other places that I think have them include:

1. Yourreef
2. Aqualife

Call them before you head out there.

they got this irrigation store in del paso heights. some really sturdy high quality stuff. i'll try to find the info. you won't be disappointed in the quality.

John - to change your RC handle, you just have to ask the mods. Post your request in the Feedback and Questions Forum.

Eh -- the Davis frogs snubbed the town by ignoring their custom underpass and they didn't get kicked out. Minh's probably safe

As for bulkhead fittings, there's also a place in Rancho Cordova -- can't remember what it's called, but if you take Sunrise South from 50, pass Costco, then turn left on Monier Circle and follow Monier all the way around until just before it rejoins Sunrise, there is a big sprinkler supply yard on your left. You'll see all the pipe stacked out front, can't miss it. I've purchased schedule 80 bulkhead fittings from them. They're kind of pricey, but they're good. They also have the really big adapters that you can use for the bell on a Durso/Stockman standpipe.

Not being PC can get you thrown out of Davis.
Detonating a thermo nuclear device is a misdemeanor.

Davis advertises that they are 'nuclear free'. Detonating a thermonuclear device might also be considered PI. You might still get kicked out on the same grounds.
