Where can I get a co2 bottle locally?

There is a plumbing supply place in longmont you'll have to Google it. I recommend calling liquer stores I paid 80 for mine from davco liquers and they all echange for about 15 dollars.

literally just got back from buying one myself at 'general air' on the corner of walnut and 38th in boulder. 10lb bottle was $163 and refills are $18.

does that seem kinda high to anyone else? bottle's not polished titanium or anything ..

Those very same people told me to go straight to a 20lb bottle as it is almost the same to fill it as a 5lb.

However... they said to NOT buy the 10lb as they usually dont have one filled to trade you. So youd have to drop it off, let them fill it & pickup the next day.

Back when I had my crappy MD regulator, I'd have to fill my 5lb tank about every 2-1/2 months.
Since I got the aquatic plants one, I am not sure I have filled my 5lb in the last year.

Wagner Welding Supply in Longmont is where I got mine. It is on the South end of Longmont a couple blocks west of Main Street by the train tracks( South Bowen I believe). I bought my 5lb CO2 bottle there when I used to have my set up and they can refill them too.
