where can i get a trimless glass tank made locally?

just wondering if anybody knows any local glass tank builders that make trimless tanks? by trimless, i mean there is no eurobracing or crossbracing at all.

I believe Advance Aqua Tanks is local here in LA (LeeMAR in San Diego?).

I imagine they would be able to make something to your specifics.

Hey bro,

No one locally does it. No one that can make good tanks at least. I had to order all of my trimless, open topped tanks from Canada. I ordered a few from InterAmerica and a few from Aquarium Obsessed. The Aquarium Obsessed tanks are the way to go. Good quality, very little bubbles and they use real Starphire glass just like Lee-Mar. There is a picture in my gallery at the very end of my first InterAmerican starfire trimless/braceless.

I'm in the same boat. I can't believe no one local makes quality trimless tanks.

Have you looked at Elos? Prices are comparable to Aquarium Obsessed and quality as good if not better. Plus, they distribute out of the Bay Area so shipping is somewhat less.

My bro ordered a 52 x 52 x 22 cube from Elos. Been more than 6 months and still no tank yet.

That's unfortunate. From my correspondence with Jessie, their standard tanks are in-stock or are shipped in once a month.

Don't the braces provide support for the tremondous weight inside the tank??

Bigian, yes, however with increased thickness of the glass, special siliconing and/or shallower heights to the tanks they usually are OK w/o any bracing.

No trim & no cross brace.

I think trimless and seamless is nice. But not for me. I like to collect wrasses. I don't want my collection ended up on the floor one after the other . I got a quote with Aquariumenvironment in TX for 6x3x2. 3 sides starphire, PVC bottom trimless for $3750 without shipping. Looking at 4g's to my door. Very good price for custom tank
