Where can I get glass cut?

I just bought a new skimmer that will not fit in my current sump. I have an extra tank in the garage I am going to convert over, but need to buy some glass pieces and have them cut. Anyone know of a local place? Thanks!

I'm not sure about the area you live in, but when I needed some glass cut for mine I just called a local place that did auto glass and they were more than able and willing to cut glass for me. If I can remember it was around $4/SF

I know a guy in Powell who does cuts for about $1. The small glass baffles I bought from him were all 3/8" thick and the six of them cost around $15 including cutting and edge-grind to make them safe.

Scott, that's a bargin. I was going to suggest buying the tools to DIY, but it is hard to beat that price, especially if you're not cutting a lot.

Heh. You would ask that. It has been about 3 years since he made anything. I can't find him in the phone book. He used to be beside the daycare center (Mudpies & Music) where Clinton Highway and Emory Road meet. I'll swing by there tonight or tomorrow and see what is going on.
