Where can I get insert fittings like this?

Our Lowes and Home Depot don't carry the reducer fittings. I just ordered some from Savko.

that sucks....i got all mine from lowes. home depot's reducer bushings (here at least) didn't take the pvc on the reducing side....they took a spigot fitting of the reduced pvc size :mad2:

meaning if i wanted to go 1.5->3/4 the bushing fit inside the 1.5" pvc, but the 3/4 side didn't take a 3/4" pvc, it took the spigot end off a 3/4" street elbow...so reducing pipe size in a straight line was impossible w/ their fittings

whereas lowes had practically every size big x small reducer bushing imaginable

I went to Genova.com and figured out the actual partnumber for the insert fitting and i found my 1mpt x 1.25 insert at homeandbeyond.com. i googled it and they were the onlyones with it instock and they were pritty cheap(or resonabley priced) hope that helps, and they make all different kinds of fittings and im sure that you can find what your looking for

yeah, mpt X different size slip adapters are pretty abundant, but i don't recall seeing too many fpt x slip adapters that aren't the same size as the fpt. to do that usually, you have to add the slip x slip reducer bushing to the fpt x slip adapter....so you have to buy 2 fittings. usually this is no big deal as they all tend to be pretty cheap....just finding them sometimes can be a pain in the arse

the plumbing guy at lowes now recognizes me & knows what i'm working on & calls me "fish tank guy"

I checked out the websight for ya and the only reductioin fitting that you want is in the form of a insert x mp not a fpt. sorry, you will just have to use 2 fittings like james said. good luck
