Where can we go that has All Inclusive resort with great snorkeling?????

I’m trying to plan a vacation with my girlfriend but, we’re on a budget.
We’re looking for an All Inclusive resort, departing from Los Angeles and looking to stay for 5 nights. Our budget is around $1700 MAX and would like to go the first week of May.

Last year we visited Riviera Maya and was around $1500 for a round trip/ 6 nights / All Inclusive & snorkeling was great.
We want to have the same experience as last year but, we just can’t seem to find a great deal right now. I been looking at Apple vacations, cheapcarribean, funjet, & etc.
Anyone know where I can find a great deal?

Right now, our options are either Dominican Republic or some where in the carribean islands.

I’ll like to get everyones opinion. If you had $1700 to spend on a vacation, where would you go?
As long as we can go snorkeling and see lots of marine life, we’re good.

I'm a travel agent and the prices now aren't as good as they were last year. Prices have gone up. We went to DR - Punta Cana last May for a week - all inclusive - under $2000 including non stop air from Boston.

A cruise is another option.... we did this last month out of San Juan and stopped at 5 islands and brought our own snorkel gear. St Kitts was the best!

Check Florida keys,went there few years ago.Wife and I spend time scuba diving of Marathon,it was great.Good snorkeling but not sure about price...good luck

I know you said you have been to the Mayan Riviera last time but did you make it to Cozumel? If not consider doing an all-inclusive on Cozumel, even the simple shore snorkeling is incredible. If you liked the snorkeling off the Mayan Riviera you will absolutely LOVE the snorkeling off of Cozumel. There is just so much more life: more coral of different colours, more fish, more rays, more eels, and better visibility. have fun wherever you go.

I have been diving in a lot of places, Cozumel is one of my favorites. They have some awesome drift diving. Some neat caverns and wrecks.
