Where did all the bubbles go?

I am posting this thread on multiple boards to gather some info.
If you have RBTA anemones with bubbles on the tentacles, then please explain...
1) How often do you feed them
2) How much flow is in your tank?
3) How much light do they recieve?

If you have these anemones and lost the bubble tips or dont have any bubble tips please explain the same.

We are interested in whether or not we can find a common thread between the 2 and if the effects are reversible.

These anemones are much more attractive when their tentacles have bubbles.

Size is something I didn't factor? I've posted this around to get the maximum amount of feedback possible. I will chart the common parameters to anemones with bubbles and without. Thanks

I read the article. there is a ton of useful info...Great job!
I am just trying to see what is happening with a cross section of peoples anemones who are having bubble issues. I was hoping maybe we could find some one who has reversed the effect more than once and we could spread that info and see if it worked elsewhere. Can't blame me for trying.

I'm not blaming you for trying :) Probably half the threads on this message board would never be started if people read all the FAQ's at the top of the board. After a while you get tired of reading your 1000th "how do I catch my clownfish?" thread, or "what happened to my BTA bubble tips?"

Not trying to make you feel bad, but I think the forum works better when people read the FAQ's first, then post when they have something to ask or offer that is not covered there. For example, I am happily awaiting the first post of "I have figured out how to cause/remove bubble tips from BTA's" :)

For what it's worth - BTA's in the wild can often exhibit bubble tips and absence of bubble tips in two individuals sitting right next to each other. Additionally, there are numerous photos of BTA's exhibiting BOTH types of tentacle tips at the same time. Let us all know if you figure it out - I have no clue :)

I Agree that i have seen Numerous pictures of Btas in the Wild some with Bubble tips, And some without right next to/ if not Touching each other...Just thought i would share the Way MY Bta's React during the Day...
